Bad Attitude

Photo was taken a few hours before dusk. The image for tomorrow is ready.

After getting this print developed I had a good laugh when I realized that I was not the only person visiting this Merc. The clue that gave it away for me is I noticed the searchlight had been rotated when compared to pictures of a previous night. I wish I noticed this difference while I was taking this picture because I preferred it in the original position. The searchlight sure does add character to this already agressive looking car.

A continuation of the Bad Attitude series that started on March 19, 2009.

@Rags: Thank you. I started this series with my favourite picture of this ’46 Merc, and tomorrow will be showing another one that I consider to be 2nd or 3rd best. I was very fortunate to be allowed to photograph such a beautiful looking car. We're almost near the end of this series. I'm honoured to get a compliment from such a skilled photographer. You take excellent portraits Rags. Capturing a natural expression is a skill I need to learn.

Impressive noticing the search light... That seems to be the way it is tho.. Once we see it in 2D all the things we didn't notice in person come screaming out at us!

@Rabbit: Very good way of putting it rabbit. It is interesting how small details like this are more noticeable in print than in person. It's almost like there is too much information for the mind to think about in the real world, and prints have a reflective way of simplifying our experiences in life. This is an interesting thought you started. hmmm, Darren
